Sedation available for all treatments
For individuals with dental phobias or anxieties, we recognise that the thought of undergoing oral surgery can be overwhelming and daunting.
Sedation for oral surgery can be a game-changer for anxious patients, as it offers a range of benefits that not only ensure a more comfortable and relaxed experience but also allow for smoother and more effective procedures.
Dr Rob Endicott, our highly experienced Dental Sedationist is a pioneer in the use of Remimazolam, a new safer, more controllable sedative with fewer side effects, allowing patients to recover and return to normal more quickly.

Following a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford Kathryn graduated with honours from Peninsula Dental School in 2012. She worked in general dental practice before taking posts in Oral and Maxillofacial and Oral Medicine departments in Salisbury, Bristol, and Bath. During her undergraduate studies at the Queens College, Kathryn focussed on cell biology and gene expression. She combined her research background and these interests to win a highly competitive National Institute of Healthcare Research Academic Clinical Fellowship in Oral Surgery. Her work on the foreign body reaction and wound healing using the zebrafish model organism has been published in the Journal of Cell Sciences.
Kathryn now works mainly in a hospital setting, performing complicated extractions with local anaesthetic and sedation. Kathryn can perform the surgical removal of upper and lower wisdom teeth, impacted (buried) or broken teeth. She can do root end surgery (apicectomies), expose buried teeth for orthodontic purposes and smooth bone that has caused issues under dentures. She can also perform surgery on soft tissues (e.g. gums, tongues, cheeks) to improve the function of your mouth or check any suspicious areas. She can also biopsy (take samples of) and manage cysts of the jaws.
