Dr Chris Chucas

Chris is from Barry, South Wales (Yes you’ll know of it from Gavin and Stacey!). He graduated from Liverpool Dental School in 2012 and has since worked in a variety of fields including General Practice, Emergency Dental Services, University Dental Hospital, as well as Sedation and Oral Surgery referral practices.

Chris is passionate about delivering quality care and ensuring patients have the best experience possible. This is what first attracted him to sedation practice – it means anxious patients and patients needing long or uncomfortable procedures can have a much better experience.

Chris also really enjoys his role in Cardiff Dental Hospital, he loves teaching and really values working in an environment with so many academics and consultants to learn from. When Chris isn’t practicing, he can often be found doing sport outdoors- particularly water sports!
