How do ceramic braces work?
Ceramic blocks glued to the teeth contain programming that determines the position of each tooth. The wire responds to the programming by pulling the teeth into position. Treatment ranges from six to 24 months.

What happens in a consultation for ceramic braces?
The clinician will assess if the patient is suitable in a lengthy appointment, taking digital photographs and radiographs and having a discussion about what the patient aims to achieve with their smile. If treatment is agreed the patient will be invited back to have the appliance fitted and then tightened every six to eight weeks.
