Important COVID-19 Information
As the situation has developed over the past weeks, it is with great sadness that we have had to temporarily close The Bristol Dental Practice.
The situation around COVID-19 has developed rapidly and there is now a nationwide order from the Chief Dental Officer for England mandating the closure of all primary care dental practices.
All but the most urgent dental treatment has now been stopped to halt the spread of the virus and protect both patients and dental staff.
Urgent dental care for genuine emergencies can be accessed from special centres set up with the correct Personal Protective Equipment in order to deliver care safely.
In the first instance, please do call us to discuss any dental problems you may have. You can call us on 0117 910 5929 and leave us a voicemail where we will return your call during working hours to offer help and advice.
Speaking to us first will help alleviate the huge pressure on the NHS at present.
Dentists and dental teams are medically trained and may be redeployed by the government in the coming weeks to work within the NHS and help the overburdened doctors and nurses working hard in our hospitals. Some of our team have already volunteered their time for this and consequently we may be stretched in terms of our frontline service to you, our patients.
We are all witnessing an unprecedented level of effort to fight this pandemic and would ask for your help and patience with our efforts to help you through any dental emergency you may have during this enforced closure.
We will re-open as soon as we are instructed that we may do so and will keep you updated as events unfold.
Please continue to check the website www.thebristoldentist.co.uk and our Facebook and Instagram pages for further and ongoing updates and do not hesitate to call us should you have any questions.
