Dr James Boyd

James graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2016 and has been part of The Bristol Dental Practice team since 2020.

James enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with the aim of ensuring that every patient receives personalised and comfortable treatment. Whether it is complex restorative or surgical procedures, enhancing smiles through cosmetic treatment, or routine check-ups, James takes pride in helping patients achieve optimal oral health and the confidence that comes with a bright, healthy smile.

James stays at the forefront of dental innovations through continuous education and advanced training. He has completed his Master’s degree (MSc) in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol as well as his post-graduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry (Pg Cert). He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (MFDS RCPS) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). In addition, James is trained in Invisalign Go and offers a wide range of treatments, such as composite bonding, wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, and dentures.

Outside of work James is a keen sportsman and particularly enjoys swimming and tennis, as well as travelling whenever possible.
